Weimar-Umpferstedt Airfield lies directly on federal road B87, only minutes from the cultural city of Weimar. Pilots have been trained here since 1990 – today on modern ultralight aircraft that are quiet (below 60 dB), economical and equipped with a ballistic recovery system.
Visitors are welcome: watch the flying from our terrace over a cup of coffee.
